A very warm welcome to The City School International, a vibrant learning hub in the heart of Clifton Karachi.
The City School International focuses purely on the primary years of education and this means we can instill the right values in our children from an early age. We take pride in all our children and being inclusive, we make a point of ensuring that no child is left behind. We care passionately about excellent learning and teaching and about learning for life, however most importantly, we care passionately about the children in our care.
As educators, we have a huge responsibility to prepare our children to be citizens of the future. While we may not know what the ‘jobs of tomorrow’ will be, we strive to equip our children with a mastery of all forms of technology, transforming them into powerful learners, preparing them for a world that is ever changing.

The City School International offers an outstanding British Primary education at an affordable price to students from Foundation Stage to Year three. Early Year Foundation Stage
At The City School International, our teaching and learning follows a ‘child-initiated’ philosophy which maximises children’s personal interests and motivations. We believe that play-based methodologies are vital for young children’s learning and it enables them to discover how to make sense of the world around them, develop a better understanding of themselves and form deeper relationships with others. We give children opportunities and time to plan and develop play and learning through their own individual interests.

Curriculum
At The City School International, we are passionate about our emergent Early Years curriculum which ensures that children’s aspirations, socialisation, self-esteem and mastery of learning are at the heart of everything that we do. We recognise the importance of choice and personal interest and truly believe that this should be developed as a skill for life. Our children are immersed in elements of the most outstanding early years educational practices from around the world as we are committed to developing future change-makers and innovators. We also strongly believe that when children are encouraged to tap into and use their imagination, then magical, creative and innovative thinking is developed. At The City School International, we ensure that our Early Years students have an abundance of opportunities to explore and develop creativity and imagination through our unique provision and curriculum.

Multi-media Principal newsletter are a celebration of whole school achievement. Weekly year group newesletters celebrate and inform parents of the week’s learning foucs, homework and student achievements.
Home-school workflow tools provide a window into learning real time and empower our parents with the confidence to support and extend the learning at home.

The City School International’s activity programme encourages students to access new experiences and explore their interests beyond the classroom. Our programme varies termly; offering a range of clubs that reflect the expertise and interests of our staff balanced by clubs from external providers. Students choose from offerings across the fields of arts, languages, sports, culture and technology.
Field Trips and Community Links
The City School International fully utilises the wealth of educational and cultural facilities available in the city. Field trips provide access to real and relevant connections between the learning, community and opportunities to apply what they have learned. Our broad field trip programme allows our students to access experiences and expertise in topics they have studied and to interact in the wider world.
